Tomorrow there is an intramural women is rugby team practice. Anyone can come and l am thinking about joining. What are some of the physical benefits as well as other benefits to playing rugby?

physical benifits are definately stamina you have to do heaps of sprints all game this really builds your fitness also getting tackled naturally will make you tougher and being in a team is great fun to play with my mates plus having knowledge of sport will make you that much closer to being the perfect woman ( i'm a guy of course)

Physical benefits: You will be in really good shape. ex) l thought l was in shape when l joined & let is just say it was tough at the beginning but near the end of the season l was in even better shape (and l lost 15lbs which l was not terribly pleased about). Extra toughness. Most likely, when u start it is going to hurt a fair amount, but as u get better/used to it it wo not hurt as much, u will find out that u can take much more than what u originally thought.

Other benefits: ur team will be like ur family. More so than in any other sport l can think of. You will probably spend a lot of time with them & if u stick with them they will stick with u through anything. And they will protect u when u need it (you should've seen how mad my team was when some girl threw me well after the whistle).

But u should know rugby is not for everyone. Try it out & stick with it until you've played a little & can figure things out more (because it does kinda suck when u start & do not know anything & have only done practice or one or two games). Then, see what u want to do.
