...does anybody know good value for money accomodation in Rome, Paris, Edinburgh and Cardiff - not too far from the Stadiums and/or city centres?
Preferably someone who is been there for the Rugby themselves, but any suggestions are welcome.
Please give me names of B&Bs in any of the towns you've been to and can recommend.
As we will go there without tickets (exc Cardiff - he is Welsh) names of places to watch the games would also be very welcome.

I've been to Rome and Edinburgh, and trying to find good value accomodation close to the city centre of either is tough, let is be honest..ANY major European city is expensive.
My suggestion is to find accomodation away from the city centre, and use public transport to the city, and the games.

the best web site ever, hostelworld.com and no they do not just to hostels. they do b&b's, apartments, small hotes and the do them world wide. very cheap, page with customer reviews of hotels ect, very good.

if u want to stay in Cardiff the Hilton hotel is about 10 Min is walk form the millennium stadium and right in the heart of the night life . the big sleep and thistle hotel are all good choices near everything you need

During the world cup finals we stayed at the Tim Hotel in Paris it was nice and reasonably priced.
