A scrum is something that is used to restart the game when things such as 'knocked on' occur. In modern days, it is made up of a 3,4,1 formation. The attach & then push against the other side, while the no.9 puts the ball into the scrum. The 8 push, & the hooker - in the middle front tries to 'hook' the ball back to the number 8 at the back. then the no.8 either picks the ball up, or another player (usually 9) picks it up.
If u meant a huddle however, then this is just a conference between the player to talk about what they r going to do next, etc
